Camera Club Diary 4th to 11th January
At the meeting on the 4th January, Maurice Steele from Eskdale gave two slide presentations entitled ‘Spitzbergen’ and ‘St. Kilda’. The two excellent collections of slides were accompanied by fascinating commentaries on the wildlife, scenery and history of both of the subject locations.
In the workshop on the 11th January, David Millington gave a demonstration of the equipment and lighting techniques used in commercial still life photography. He described how members might improvise at home in order to use those techniques and avoid buying expensive equipment. An excellent evening, giving members ideas of how to tackle this type of photography.
